Mozzart Bet sponsors the Africa Cup for Club Champions

Leading gaming company Mozzart Bet is the title sponsor for the Africa Cup for Club Champions hockey tournament that is set to kick off on Monday 13th February.

Mozzart Bet pumped in Ksh 800,000 to the Kenya Hockey Union (KHU) which is organising the tournament that will see some of the best hockey clubs in Africa fight for top honours.

The championship that is set to be played at the Sikh Union and the City Park Hockey Stadium has attracted a total of nineteen teams.

Mozzart Bet Country Manager Sasa Krneta reiterated the firm's resolve in supporting the community through sports and other social events and programs.

"As a company, we understand the importance of sports and its impact on society. Sports bring people together, inspire hope and unity, and provide a sense of community and belonging. That is why we are dedicated to supporting and promoting sports in Kenya and beyond, " he said.

Krneta went on to note that the championship will offer a good platform for players to express their talent and will expose them to a higher level as well.

"Through this sponsorship, Mozzart Bet Kenya is committing Ksh 800,000 to support the event and help provide a platform for the talented hockey players to showcase their skills and compete at the highest level," he remarked.

The Kenya Hockey Union President Nashon Randiek thanked Mozzart Bet for the financial aid that came their way at the hour of need.

"We were confirmed as the host at a time when we could not request for funding from the government.We had to turn our hunt to the corporate world and I am glad that Mozzart Bet agreed to partner with us," he said.
